With the completion of the new tank, H2o can now explore remediation or replacment options for the second tank. There has been investigation into refurbishing the tank with a ATS, Applied Technical Services, a local tank inspection company. The board has had several meetings and an off site in Los Osos to inspect a tank that has undergone refurbishment. An estimate has been received and the BOD has voted to hire ATS on a preliminary basis. ATS will do an initial inspection of the tank to determine the vialbility of the refurbishment process as opposed to replacement.
